Omar Scala

Omar Scala was born in Trieste, he started working in theaters in his hometown since he was very young. After graduating in “Acting” from the Accademia Teatro La Contrada, he first followed many lighting engineering courses, to then move to Rome where he put together his two passions in collaboration with different theaters and companies. In 2016 he started working on his first lighting designs for Frosini Timpano, Proxima Res and Stabile Mobile.

The meeting with the two lighting designers Luigi Biondi and Gianni Staropoli pushed him to shape light even further, making it a powerful, poetical and dramatic presence for the scene.
