Maria Novella Tattanelli
Performer
Maria Novella, trained as a professional dancer in Florence at the Opus Ballet study center, she moved to London where she attended professional courses at The Place London contemporary dance academy. Furthermore she also receives scholarships from Tipperary Dance Platform, Ireland, and NOD workshop Turin. She began her professional career as a contemporary professional dancer in Israel with the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company and then approached the highest companies in the country such as Batsheva dance company, LEV Sharon Eyal, Imbal Pinto & Avshalom Pollak. In Israel she deepens the Gaga technique, influencing her in learning, creating, discovering and exploring herself as a dancer and artist. Later on she moved to Berlin and began working for Sonia Rodriguez Hernandez and teaching contemporary technique at the professional centers TanzFabrik, FabrikPotsdam and Marameo. In this time she started to collaborate as a dancer and performer with ZA Danceworks, Andrea Zardi. She has been invited as a Choreographer and Dancer with her own project in several festivals such as Gdansk Festival Tanca Poland, DanceDaysChania Greece, Masdanza Spain. She currently works as a performer for the Marina Abramović Institute within the retrospective “The Cleaner”, as well as a dancer for the company ADARTE, the artist Pablo Bronstein in collaboration with the OGRs of Turin. In 2018 she began also a GYROTONIC® trainer.
